Enjoy the Season!

I'm not one for gushing over holidays, especially this time of year. December can be stressful with all the commotion and the shortest days (and lately the coldest!). Find a way to enjoy your holiday or non-holiday and the return of the light on the Solstice.

I'm looking forward to January 1st to dig into the 2023 growing season and do some serious planning and paperwork!

New Offerings This Year

I didn't make any changes last year, but for 2023, you can get Red Iceberg lettuce in the Spring Share and Green Zebra tomato in the Summer Share. Red Iceberg is crunchy, tender, and sweet - not at all like supermarket green iceberg. Green Zebra is a tasty green and yellow striped medium-sized slicer.

With a CSA, you get your plants when it's time to plant them! They are hardened off and ready to go in the ground in late April or late May.

You can also get a bundle of Renee's Garden seed packets for spring and summer planting, and for the second year now, Renee's Garden Scatter Cans.

Do you need some raised beds or outdoor furniture? We've got that, too!

For gift giving any time of year, consider a Gift Certificate.

'The Book'

The final draft of A Monthly Guide to Growing a Sensational Garden in Northern New Mexico and the Rocky Mountains has been submitted! Hopefully, within a couple of weeks, the book should be available. There are a few more steps and approvals to go through, though. Things get jammed with the holidays, so I don't have a better timeline than that.

When I get a price from the publisher, I'll do preorders that you can pick up at my house. Also, if you don't live here and want a signed copy, I'll be able to do that and ship to you. Details will come out as we go along (read: as I figure it out!).

The cover is finalized. We're waiting on a final page count to put it all together and get it to the printer. I hope this tantalizes you and fills you with anticipation! In the meantime, start dreaming about and planning your 2023 gardens.
