Greetings and welcome to the new subscribers!

I got up about 4am today, and it started to sprinkle! I stood on the portal with my coffee and listened to raindrops hit the leaves of the honeysuckle. These are the most special moments - the quiet, surprise rain, hot coffee. Did I say the quiet?!

I'm coming up to the end of my growing season. For a week or so, I've been dreaming and scheming about what to do when it's over. Art, hiking, biking, and clean the damn house! I'm looking forward to feeling refreshed!

Until then, here's what's going on.
Saturday, May 25, from 10-1 The Taos Chapter of the NM Native Plant Society is having a Plant Sale at the Taos Land Trust. Their greenhouse is packed with all things native to the area. I'll be there with tomatoes, basil, and zucchini for sure. Once I sort the Summer Shares, I'll know what else is available. Of course, I'll have The Book, garden journals, Renee's Garden Seeds, and keychains.

Pablo Cruz will have trees and native flowers and grasses. Casey Flynn will have flowers, raspberries, native plants, and interior plants. Our friend, Megan, will also have a lot of native perennials and shrubs.

The Land Trust is at 410 La Posta Road, adjacent to Baca Park, 301 Camino Del Medio. Park at Baca Park and walk the short trail through the bosque to get to the plant sale.
Tomatoes...
Megan's selection of plants at our Earthgoods pop-up earlier this month.
CSA Summer Shares pick-up will be Sunday, May 26 through Monday, June 3. If you can't pick up, please make arrangements for someone else to. I won't be here after noon on Wednesday or on Thursday morning.

You must have your order number! Let me know what days and times work for you, and I'll have your order ready for you. Thanks!
Peppers of all kinds!
Friday, May 24, the Talpa Community Market opens for the season! The first two weeks are dedicated to growers only. And the food here is scrummy! It's at the Talpa Community Center (which is amazing in itself!) at 4 Archuleta Rd, Talpa.
That's it!
Next month I'll have a more detailed newsletter when I'm not in a rush!
See you soon!
